TRIAD Treatment Center Announces New
Service Affiliations
TRIAD’s NTR™ Treatment System is a wonderful “Jump Start Into Recovery”,
and is best viewed as the optimal first step in a comprehensive approach
to recovery that includes addressing the emotional and spiritual
components of the disease of addiction.
To that end, TRIAD has entered into service agreements with several
top-quality inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs
in our area.

Addiction is a 3-part disease, with medical (brain), emotional, and
spiritual components. To treat it successfully, all three aspects MUST
be addressed. It is not sufficient to treat only one or two of these
components. Therefore, TRIAD’s NTR™ Treatment System is best viewed as a
great way to begin the process. We call it a Jump Start Into Recovery.
The key benefits of NTR™ are reduction or elimination of drug cravings,
speedier return of normal brain function (cognition), and a less
difficult and unpleasant detoxification process (elimination of drugs
and alcohol from the system). It prepares the newly-recovering addict
with a drug-free brain that not only is free of mind-altering addictive
substances, but has healed much further than traditional (so-called
“medical”) detoxification processes.
We strongly recommend that all TRIAD clients plan to enroll
concomitantly in a comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment program, or,
“rehab”. It take time to address the emotional and spiritual components
of addiction, and it is impossible to stay clean and sober without a
deep knowledge of the disease, plus learning how to live life different;
“life on life’s terms”. For most, this will be a minimum of 30 days, and
optimally, 60, 90, or even more days. Often newly-recovering addicts and
alcoholics will further benefit from living in a transitional “sober
living” environment for 6-18 months more.
To this end, we have arranged with several local drug and alcohol
treatment facilities to work together to provide our clients with the
full spectrum of treatment. Options include both in- and outpatient
programs, and 30, 60, and 90 day programs. Most are based upon the
12-step model, that of Alcoholics Anonymous and other similar programs.
Many 12-step recovery organizations exist; they are the only treatment
model that has been shown to work for the largest group of addicts and
alcoholics. Other models do exist and can be effective, too. We will
work with our clients to find the most suitable fit.
