Where Does NTR™ Fit In?
NTR™ is best viewed as a critical first step-a jump start into the
recovery process. It repairs the drug-damaged brain tissues and
suppreses drug cravings. Addressing the emotional and spiritual aspects
of addiction disease can then be started much earlier and with a clear
and well-functioning brain. Usually, this involves a combination of
either inpatient or outpatient residential treatment centers,
psychological or spiritual counseling and 12-step support groups over a
period of weeks to years. There are other approaches that work besides
12-Steps.
TRIAD Treatment Center is unique among treatment programs in addressing
the missing medical link in the addiction recovery puzzle. To date,
effective medical approaches that repair the drug-damaged brain have
simply not been available. Until now, "medically-assisted detox" was the
best we had to offer. NTR™ eases the discomfort of drug withdrawal,
reduces or eliminates drug cravings, and speeds up the return of normal
brain function.
